Jailed for selling calendars

A man in Thailand has been jailed for two years after he was found selling calendars which featured satirical comments and images of rubber ducks dressed in royal regalia.

According to the BBC, the calendar defamed the monarchy and Narathorn Chotmankongsin, 26, has been convicted of insulting the Thai king. The rubber duck has been a symbol of pro-democracy protesters in Thailand.
