The walk begins with a yogic warm up including breath awareness followed by a meditative walk along the shore. The walk is barefoot with the intention to connect to both feet and the earth.

There are stops and standing asanas to be enjoyed along the way and the walk ends with a cool down and meditation. In the words of one participant: “The beach walks are a wonderful way to share with others the energy of the sea and beach and be grounded to nature. The barefoot walking is connecting to the sand and exercising the foot and leg muscles.

I particularly enjoy the meditative aspect of listening to the sounds of the waves and feeling there is nowhere else in the world that I would rather be for that second.”
