The 280 square metre store will open next to FAO Schwarz on the lower ground level of the department store. It will have a wide selection of books, with a focus on children's and Irish-published publications.

New greeting card collections and stylish stationery companies will be launched especially for the store and displayed in the critically acclaimed new fit-out design.

“We're delighted to be opening a new Eason store in Arnotts; both brands have a rich retail heritage and have been a valued part of Dublin shoppers' lives for generations,” stated Brendan Corbett, head of marketing and customer experience at Eason Group.

“We're excited to collaborate closely with Eason's team, and the city centre will benefit greatly from this partnership with Arnotts.”

In the meanwhile, Audrey Owens, director of Arnotts' home and lifestyle concessions, declared: “We are delighted to have the renowned Irish brand Eason join our Henry Street shop.”

Celebrity UK beauty entrepreneur, makeover specialist, and television personality Trinny Woodall will sign copies of her book Fearless on Saturday, April 20th at 12pm, after the store opening.
